Tessa grew rather puzzled about this. Why would someone be knocking at her door at this hour? She sat herself down and extended her slender fingers, starting to count off possibilities. ”Let me see.. I do not know many people, so it couldn’t be a surprise visitor… I do not order many things, and the things I have ordered are not scheduled for arrival for quite a while.. No new fabrics have come into the local tailor’s shop…What could it be?” She was up to three possibilities, none of them being what she had wanted just yet.
Another impatient knock at the door, Tessa frowned a little. Well, that wasn’t very nice! One should at least wait when their guest is going to answer the door.. She thought just as she hopped onto her feet. She bounced lively over to the door and opened it, shocked to see the tall figure that was her boss! She blinked, almost too surprised to speak. Though, Kaito had been doing the talking.
”I take it you made it home with minimal damage, yes?” The man purred, leaning down a bit to come face-to-face with Tessa. For the first time in.. Give or take a few months, she took sight of the man’s eyes. Neon red, no exaggeration there. Each eye had a unique scar running on each eyelid, both up in down, these scars being from a knife incident and on both of his eyes. Though, the way it had looked almost made it seem as if they were painted on with facial paint close to the male’s pale-ish skin. The strands of his unkempt-looking gray hair. The newest thing Tessa had noticed was the fact that he had some dark blue strands of hair in the mix. She smirked at her sassy comment, ”Oh, dear.. I do hope that you haven’t dipped your head in a vat of paint or anything.”
Now, her tone managed to carry along the fact that she was just kidding, the two would often exchange witty banter every now and then, whether at work or.. Well, this was the first time Tessa had been outside of the work area, or the first time when she had him were not in somewhere like the cemeteries together, where they would be accompanying one another. To what did she owe the pleasure to, anyway? There would really be only one way to figure it out. ”Is.. There something I can possibly help you with? I don’t believe you have ever showed up on my door step before..”
”To be honest.. I’m quite bored.” Kaito paused, looking around Tessa before inviting himself in basically, smiling, ”Your home is quite lovely, Tessa. It’s quite..Like you. Many things I’d expected to be in here are visible to my eyes.” Tessa watched, a bit baffled at the fact he was now in her home. This.. Wasn’t something she expected. I suppose that now would be the time to embrace all things unexpected.. With that thought she cleared her throat and trotted inside, ”And you suggest I do something about your boredom..? Also. Is there anything I can get you?” Even if it wasn’t for the fact that she worked for him, Tessa would be hospitable on all accounts. Kaito wagged a finger, signaling for Tessa to come closer. And as instructed, she did so until the male managed to snatch her up, arms snaked around her waist for a moment.
He took a finger, tracing his long, at least for a male, nail up and down Tessa’s neck. ”I wouldn’t mind a bite of you.” He purred, smirking as if he had been successful in something. Soon enough, a small chuckle left his lips as he let go. ”Actually. I want you to entertain me.” He waved a hand, as if dismissing Tessa, smirk still on his lips. ”Besides, you’re always making me giggle with the way you scare the life out of our customers, so I figured I could depend on you to take me out of my foul mood.”
Tessa only stared for a moment, He’s in a foul mood..? He seems as playful as ever! She only nodded a bit before leaving, soon coming back in with two glasses of water, ”Well, isn’t that kind of you..” He purred quietly, taking the glass away from her as he pressed it to his lips. Silence soon overcame the two before Tessa decided to please Kaito with a few witty jokes.
Cyril was now looking all around. There had to be something that she would like, anything. Oh, dear Tessa…What will you- He paused, just as his gray eyes had stumbled upon something he figured she would just love. He didn’t hesitate to scoop it up in his hands. Soon enough he ran, yes ran, all the way to her home. He settled himself on the doorstep, only ever set for placing the present down. Instead, Tessa just opened the door out of coincidence, ”Oh, my..! Cyril, hello there. I wasn’t expecting..’ Tessa was about to continue on before he blushed, taking in a breath, ”N-No! I was going to..” To spare himself from further embarrassment, Cyril ended up handing the box over to her. Tessa opened it, gasping softly as she looked inside to see a decorated glass rose, a blue rose, on a choker strand. It was beautiful. ”Cyril, I… I can’t believe that you would give something like this to me.. Would you like to come in?
”Tessaaaaa!” Chimed Kaito’s voice for a brief moment. Cyril blinked, eyes widened for a moment, ”Who..Was that, Tessa?” He called for a moment, feeling a slight surge of jealousy kick in immediately. He walked in after Tessa invited him and looked around, but as soon as he headed in, there was nobody else there. The other glass lay cleaned. Tessa’s eyes widened for a moment. Where in the world did Kaito go? “Well… I suppose it wasn't anything..” He chuckled softly, feeling a bit awkward, now that he was in her home. Tessa felt a small feeling of this, as well, though it was an interesting thing. She didn’t have very many guests in her home.
"Now that I am in, I think we should settle one thing." Cyril walked behind Tessa, his gloved hands going to the choker she was wearing. It soon fell gently into her hands as he clasped on the rose choker. "Beautiful. And I don't mean just the choker." He purred charmingly, gently taking a strand of hers in his hand. So soft, so... Wonderful, he felt as if he could die happily!
A wave of heat surfaced on Tessa's cheeks, her eyes now returning to see Cyril. It really was nice of him to do this. Just as Tessa was about to speak, Cyril's index finger was placed gently against her lips. Instead, he unfolded that hand all the way and grinned "Would the lady perhaps dance? In the blink of an eye, music started to play, basically out of nowhere, Tessa wasn't sure how to reply for a moment before smiling, "I'd love to."
